5 Quick Morning Stretches to Boost Your Energy

Starting your day with a few quick stretches can set a positive tone and give you an energy boost. Here are five simple stretches to incorporate into your morning routine:

Cat-Cow Stretch: Begin on all fours. Arch your back up towards the ceiling (Cat), then dip it down while lifting your head and tailbone (Cow). This stretch wakes up your spine and improves flexibility.

Standing Forward Bend: Stand with your feet hip-width apart, bend forward at the hips, and reach for your toes. This stretch relieves tension in your back and hamstrings.

Side Stretch: Stand tall, clasp your hands overhead, and lean to each side. This stretch opens up your ribs and helps improve posture.

Seated Spinal Twist: Sit with your legs extended, bend one knee, and cross it over the other leg. Twist your torso towards the bent knee. This stretch promotes spinal mobility and aids digestion.

Child's Pose: Kneel on the floor, sit back on your heels, and extend your arms forward, resting your forehead on the ground. This pose calms the mind and gently stretches the back.

Incorporate these stretches into your morning routine to feel more awake and ready to tackle the day ahead!
